My name is Dominik Appels. I am 39 years old and based in 'De Kempen' (Belgium). Naming my business Studio Appels was an obvious decision: it is my last name (which also happens to be the word for ‘apples’ in Dutch) plus my passion for working graphically and creatively combined. I enjoy developing animations, video productions, complete branding/identities for companies, illustrations and paintings. Check out the project page to take a peek at my work.
BACKGROUND
After having worked for graphic and advertising agencies for the past eight years, I decided to start my own business with one employee: myself. This has been a great decision, because now I can work on projects from A to Z. I also teach the courses Graphic Design and Video & Animation to a bunch of very creative teenagers. It is truly amazing what kids can create these days.
